Jacqueline: Words have sustained me my entire life. I wrote stories and poems as a child, drama filled diaries when a teenager, studied writing for press and radio and have used these skills as an environmental and political campaigner. Throughout it all I have written poetry, rhymes for my children, poetry for friends and poems that express my passage through life. I believe words can touch our souls bringing both joy and healing. Sharing the emotion in poetry enables us to recognise and release our own hidden feelings. For many years I have written for my own pleasure. Now I am responding to the advice of friends and releasing my words to the world. I hope you enjoy them.
